Locate the pgh reservation
It would have been great in the confirmation email if there was mention of dollar rental is the place to pick the car

Then had to call and find out it is Dollar rental car

Ripped off by hidden charges
Paid for car rental but got to hire place Zezgo and was told to pay another $250 for insurance. Absolute rip off apparently even though I got email to say there was NOTHING TO PAY I had to pay extra 250 for insurance. Do not use this company for any car hire

Not clear on details regarding rental at airport counter with fox rental
Only took seconds to take money out of account but with no major credit card could not rent car even though paid for except for deposit. Fox counter help cancelled rental car but still had to notify rental 8 which then said could be 7 to 14 days for refund on something that was never rented.

Late arrival
My flight delayed and I didn't know that the car rental agency closed early. I called CarRental8 and what they told me is that if I didn't pick up the vehicle I rented and paid for with in the two hour window, I would loose all funds and my reservation would be canceled and I would have to rebook.
I asked for a manager and the rep said they would tell me the same thing.
I ended up calling the rental agency and they were able to help me with my late arrival and getting the car. They told me that I would not loose my rental and at worst, would just have to pick it up the next morning if I couldn't get in by the time they closed.
They also said I would not loose the funds that I had already paid. CarRental8 rep didn't know what they were saying and were misleading..

Rip off merchants - additional hidden ‘admin charges’. Beware and advise do not use them.
Tell you not to pay toll charges and then bill you not only for the charge but admin charges on top. Other companies let you pay the charge yourself at a fraction of the cost.
Absolute rip off.

I called to reserve my reservations and I was told I have to make a $500 deposit on top of the $414 because my license is from Arizona and I only have a debit card which it gave you a choice of debit or credit and it should explain what what my options would be but it didn't I am a residence in Las Vegas Nevada now and I do have a lease which the representative told me I have to have a return ticket well that's impossible when I am a residence out here now I plan on going nowhere else this is my home and I was told if I cancel it right away there will be no charge and that's what I'm asking for because this is false advertisement

I would give this company 0 (zero stars). Made reservations for rental car on 12/17/22 for pickup at SFOfor 12/24-12/26/2022. Arrived
We arrived at the correct time for pickup on 12/24/2022 only to find out they had no cars left. There was no empathy whatsoever.
WHAT? Already had charged our credit card for reservation of car. We were by far not the only ones. They referred us to Alamo who; thankfully they had a car available.
We paid for the Alamo rental car in addition to the Carrental8 rental.
Terrible company...please do not rent from them!! We are seeking refund for rental car and also the difference of the rental car from Alamo.

Problem at the airport picking up my car
absolute scam! Left my almost 80-year-old mother at the airport without a car.
Do not use this company!

Reservation problems
This is a horrible company and very dishonest when it comes to cancelations. When you book your reservation online for the dates that you want, it automatically changes the dates to something else. They probably do this so they can charge you a $75 cancelation fee.
Very dishonest, stay away.

You took money out of my account and the booking was not accepted. You have replied then stop replying, still have not got my money back with a week gone by already!

Upon my reservation last week for pick up and drop off hours I chose my pick up and drop off times. unfortunately it shows 12pm for pick up but I chose 10pm also drop off 3:30 pm please fix it to my chosen times
