Cancel reservation for a different day
My flight got cancelled I will be there tomorrow so I want to change the reservation for tomorrow morning
Can't find my booking
Saw a lot of negative scam issues from other customers and couldnt contact anyone! Wasted a lot time trying to cancel reservation.

Unreturned fees
I rented a car with these guys a few days ago and canceled within a few days before our actual date and they said they were gonna charge me $75 for the cancellation. Thats *** I should get 100% refund.

Your customer service rep said my refund would come from Dollar car rental, not carrental 8. This was a lie per Dollar.

BUYER BEWARE
I rented a car that I prepaid for online. I was unable to pick up the rental car due to the fact that I did not have a flight in or out of the Birmingham Airport!
This was not disclosed in the Terms & Conditions! Now, not only am I stuck at the airport but I was charged a $75 cancellation fee!!!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Got it resolved quickly. Really appreciate this first time experience with this company.

very, very hard finding this rightcars at the airport , noone new where it was !! spent 3 hrs at the airport looking and asking for this rightcars rental - no more will i use the car rental co.

This is a rip off company that acts as a third party booking agent for Budget Rent a Car in LIttlerock, AR. When I originally tried to book with Budget I was redirected to Carrental8.
I didn't think this was going to be an issue until I tried to cancel my reservation. I was told at that time by Carrental8 that I would forfeit a $75 cancellation fee even though my reservation was not for another week. Nowhere on my original confirmation email does it
mention any type of penalty or fee for cancelling.
I have booked hundreds of auto rental reservations during my long business career before I retired and have never had this happen before. This company must take in big money from unsuspecting customers who are unaware of their cancellation policy which I will mention again, is nowhere on the booking or confirmation statements.

We had to have our relatives pick us up in the middle of the night and drive us all the way back to Enfield Connecticut. It was a rather uncomfortable very inconvenient start to a family visit and gathering for our children and grandchildren.
3 hours late we arrived at New Haven Connecticut at 1:30 a.m.
we were scheduled to arrive at 10:15 the car company budget car rental agency closed at 11:00 p.m. I had called several times before the customer service department of budget informed me that they would stay open for the flights that have been delayed so that people can get their cars and that someone would be there to give us the car that we paid for when we arrived at 1:30 there was nobody there so I spoke with somebody at customer service her name was call Leah k a l i a and she informed me to send this email and that she was going to escalate this request for a full refund and I'm asking for no cancellation fee due to the situation we encountered we are senior citizens and we had nobody there to give us our car at 1:30 in the morning we are trying to visit our grandchildren and we would like a full refund with no cancellation fee that's the least you could do to help us in this situation so we really appreciate it and I appreciate you getting back to me as soon as possible by email or my telephone number which is 413-330-**** also I would like to give you the booking number for the car rental the booking number is 411-4** ** also the confirmation number is 281-2**** US3 thank you very much for getting back to me as soon as possible and my name is William Lebrun.

Modify driver on reservation
Cannot get in touch with someone after hours or you cannot reach a person and no one contact. Or just dont use them

Need to change reservation wife's name. Stuck here with my family of 7 at thrifty car rental.
